I consider myself part scientist, part artist and which are inextricably connected by the world of mathematics.
As a scientist, I have explored from mega turbines to mainframe computing to mathematical modeling and analytics in nanotechnology & semiconductor. I currently enjoy working as a lead data scientist, who ideates, architects and develops Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence solutions in scientific & engineering environments. By having high proficiency in advanced analytics, algorithms, software development, and resource management, I take an idea and iterate faster from a prototype to an MVP to a product, that is stable, scalable, and easy to maintain. I have 12+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Software Programming, and Scientific Engineering. Intellection, Strategic, Ideation, Learner, Deliberative are my top 5 strengths based on Gallup StrengthsFinder.
As an artist, I explore balance, symmetry and find simplicity in complex environments. I am also an avid lover of nature, who is fascinated by structures defined by numerical concepts such as, Fibonacci numbers, logarithmic spirals in nautilus, fractals, the golden ratio, etc. As Galileo once said, “the book of nature is written in mathematical characters” and I derive most of my inspirations from it for my principles and philosophy.
Putting together as a scientist and an artist, I do science with a slice of imagination and a pi of creativity.
Instead of looking at every problem as same kind of nail, that could be solved with a single hammer, I enjoy working with multiple tool sets to find the right hammer. I solve complex problems by looking at it holistically and abstracting using first principle methods. I then use a variety of tools concurrently, to solve subtasks efficiently, which are then integrated seamlessly.
